What type of ink do you use?
We use genuine Brother GT-3, water based pigment inks. GT-3 inks are CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on youth/children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. Also, GT-3 inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.
What technology is used to print on t-shirts (and any fabric product)?
Our standard process is the Direct to Garment (DTG) method of printing. That means we can create photo quality prints. We use Kornit and Brother GT 381 printers for all DTG printed garments. We also have all-over-printing and screen printing options.
How do you print on mugs?
Mug artwork is inkjet printed, using special dye-sublimation inks and transfer paper. After printing, the transfer paper is wrapped around the mug. The image on the transfer paper is mirrored. Heat and pressure is applied to transfer the image. Printed dye is mixed with the coating. The image then becomes part of the mug.
Shipping, Returns & Delivery Times
How long do I have to submit a claim for a return/exchange?
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or through our contact form, within 30 days after the product is received. You are required to return the product(s) at your own expense, but if we find the returned items to be defective or incorrect, you will be refunded the full postage cost. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no more than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse, and since we print on demand we cannot offer size exchanges free of charge.
What if the product is damaged in the mail?
We guarantee each product from the moment it leaves our shop to the point it is received by the customer. If any order arrives broken, damaged, incomplete, or wrong, we will reship their order to ensure they are satisfied with the product. We ask for photo verification of the damaged goods sent to email@example.com, then we’ll gladly send a replacement at no cost to you.
Why is my shipping label in euros?
We normally print shipping labels in USD. But for orders fulfilled in Europe, we print the value in euros so it’s easier to go through customs checkpoints and mail sorting centers within Europe.
Packing slips are still in USD, as that’s the only currency we operate with. We are planning on printing packing slips in whichever currency customers use, but that won’t be implemented for a while.
Where can I find the tracking information for my orders?
All tracking numbers can be found in the shipping notification emails we send out, as well as on your profile dashboard. Tracking numbers generate when a shipping label is printed at our facility – keep in mind the tracking information may not reflect any action for up to 24 hours after a label has been printed.
If it has been more than 24 hours since you received a shipping notification and the tracking still reflects no action or movement, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To track your order, go to our order tracking site, and submit your email address and tracking number.
What’s the average transit time for shipments?
For orders shipped to an European destination, the average delivery time is 5-10 business days after fulfillment. The average delivery time for orders shipped from our Europe location to non-E.U. regions is 10-20 business days.
Keep in mind that, on average, orders shipped to European destinations can be delivered even faster!
How long is fulfillment time?
We take about 2-7 business days to create apparel products (t-shirts etc.) and 2-5 business daysfor non-apparel (mugs etc.) products. Then you should add shipping times on top of that.
97.66% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than a half of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or less.
How are shipping prices affected by the Europe location?
For now, it costs you the same to receive an order from our Europe location to a European address as it does from our US location to Europe. That’s because orders are routed after checkout. So during the checkout process, shipping is calculated as if it were being sent from the US.
Our international live rates are already competitive!
How should I wash my printed garments?
We use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology to offer a wide variety of printable garments and design color options at an affordable price. The DTG ink in this process is different from the ink screen printers use.
Be wary of washing and drying on a high setting, especially when the garment is 100% cotton. High-temperature washes can fade and crack the print, and a high-temperature dryer settings can shrink the garment, as well as damage the print.
In order for you to prolong the life of your custom print, we suggest following the care instructions below:
Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
Sublimation apparel can be washed at any temperature setting without affecting quality. But we recommend washing with like colors, as the polyester fabric may make colors run. High temperatures during washing and drying may shrink the fabric.
Are your products eco-friendly?
We try to do our best to minimize waste in packaging and source eco-friendly packaging materials. Many of our packaging materials are either recyclable or biodegradable. Bubble wraps are made from a minimum of 15% recycled plastic and 10% post-consumer content. The poly bags used in our packaging are recycable, biodegradable, 100% virgin polyethylene film, FDA and USDA compliant.
Why am I being charged tax for my order to North Carolina or California?
We’re located in two states in the USA at the moment – California and North Carolina. Because we now have presence in both places, we’re required by law to tax all orders shipped to California and North Carolina. The state tax rate is dependent on the county and local taxes. In most areas the sales tax rate varies between 6.75% – 7% but some can be as high as 7.5%.
